Thirty years ago, Jacksonville's rapid development threatened to erase a beautiful natural area. A concerned citizens group stepped forward and saved the pristine property. Now, present and future generations have a place to learn about nature, to walk amongst tall pines and massive oaks, to observe a quiet stream, and to wonder at life's creations.   All Tree Hill programs are designed to make participants aware of the world that was, a world that in some places still is, and, most importantly, a world that can and must be preserved for those to come.
