Tree Hill Nature Center
Tree
Hill Nature Center is a nonprofit wildlife preserve conveniently
located in the midst of a Jacksonville, Florida suburb. Tree Hill
is an urban wilderness of unspoiled, undeveloped land right in the
heart of the city.
Tree
Hill has been an integral part of the environmental landscape in
Northeast Florida for three decades. So, please take the time to
visit and learn about nature, walk among the massive oaks, observe
a quiet stream and wonder at life's creations.
Tree
Hill is a Place...
...that
includes 50 acres of forest, swamps, freshwater streams, gardens,
nature trails, and exhibits.
Tree
Hill is a Community...
...where
relationships between diverse forms of life are observed and studied,
while values of respect and cooperation are enhanced.
Tree
Hill is Nature's Classroom...
...a
haven of environmental awareness for schools, science camps, teacher
workshops, family celebrations or just a leisurely stroll.
