School Programs

Program Hours:
Half day programs are two hours: 9:30-11:30 a.m. or10:00 a.m.-Noon
Full day programs are four hours: 9:30-1:30 p.m. or 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.

Program Fees:
Tree Hill has a contract with the Duval County School Board for the 2007-2008 public school year to service the entire third grade. For the Duval County public school third graders only, there is no fee for the school program. Bus arrangements must be made through the school and are not included in the cost for the school program.

If your school is private or public (excluding 3rd grade) the program fees are:
Half day program: $8.00/student. Full day program: $10.00/student.

Teachers are free of charge and schools are allowed up to 4 chaperones per class free of charge. Additional chaperones will be charged $2.00 for the cost of admission.

Group Leaders:
One teacher and one additional adult are required for each class of students participating in a field study day at Tree Hill. At least one teacher must have previously attended the Forest Ecology training.
